Time Flies When You're Having Fun

It's hard to believe that we only have one month of summer vacation left. Where has the time gone? We have had a great summer break so far. We've had weddings, a 2 week beach vacation, done somethings in the house, Thirty One parties, softball, river, cheered Will Allen on in All Stars and had plenty of time to hang out with our friends. We will be doing about the same in the month of July. Charlie and I are truly blessed to have the summers off together and enjoy spending time together, most of the time :)
Our garden is growing well. This year we are having corn, purple whole peas, okra, cucumbers galore, squash, bell peppers, banana peppers, and of course Charlie's favorite, tomatoes. We love having fresh veggies.
We start our last class before graduating in December with our Masters. We are thrilled to be almost done.
Off to enjoy the rest of our summer vacation.

Beach Time

We love the beach! This year the beach trip has been a bit interesting with the oil spill thanks to BP and Obama. We are enjoying our last week at the beach with Charlie's family. My family was here the 1st week and we enjoyed laying out, swimming, eating, playing cards, eating, shopping and hanging out. Dad's favorite friend was Milfred during the trip. Charlie and I decided we could get use to living at the beach. We love it here. We have got to eat some great seafood and send time with old friends and family. It's always fun running into people you went to school with years ago.
We have a summer of being lazy and enjoying time off. Remainder of our summer will be spent doing:
** We will be taking one class this summer, that will meet 6 times, to graduate from Bethel in December with our Masters. We are getting to take the class at UU with a good teacher.
**Charlie will attend his summer work sessions for his school.
**Yay we found out tonight that Will Allen made All-Stars so we will definately be making road trips to Jackson for his games. He is so excited!!!
**Keep Emma, Will Allen and the Sammons clan some
** Cut yard and tend to garden
**ENJOY BEING OUT FOR SUMMER!!

Schools ALMOST Out for Summer!!!

8 1/2 day in counting!!! We are ready for school to be out for summer! This year has been a long year. Charlie and I are about to graduate with our Masters in Adminstration. YAY for us. We are ready for our 2 week beach vacation. We are hoping the oil spill will hold off for us to enjoy our much needed vacation. We will be laying low this summer and enjoying some time off.
Charlie has just today completed our last renovation in our house, the kitchen floor. He did a wonderful job this weekend tiling our kitchen floor to match my new backsplash that he did. What a handy man that I married.
This summer we will be celebrating our 3 year anniversary. Hard to believe it's been 3 years. We are looking forward to many more together.

Have a great week and we are on the count down!!!

Love This Weather!!!

Spring break is finally here and we are loving it. We our enjoying the beautiful weather and being outside. This week we have planted our garden, planted flowers, sold a lawnmower and gotten a new one. We have gotten to hangout with friends, see Will Allen play ball and visit family. We are enjoying a much needed break. The count down is now on - 6 more weeks until school's out for summer!!!!
Since the last post I have started a new hobby/business. I am now a consultant for Thirty -One and loving every minute of it. Check it out: www.mythirtyone.com/julieligon. I have had several parties already and look forward to having more. Let me know if you are interested in a catalog or house party.
This Tuesday is our last night class of the semester. WE will graduate in December and can't wait. We have observation hours to complete in the fall and we are DONE!!!
Softball starts back next week for Charlie so we will be staying busy until August now. We enjoy it and look forward to another successful season!!

Just His Luck!

Well we thought we would make it through this basketball season with no broken bones. No such luck. Last year Charlie blew out both ankles. This year we have moved to the hands. After 6 hours at the docters appointment, he has a broken knuckle. Next week we are headed to the Campbell Clinic with his xrays. Hopefully, we will not have the hear the words surgery or pin in the same sentence. He insist that he will be playing on Saturday with a lot of tape, we will see how that goes. He has to be back to normal he says for softball season which is quickly approaching. I love my husband for still being a child at heart and I'm still his cheerleader.
This weekend I will be judging pageants in Jackson with mom and some friends. It should be fun. Sunday we have a baby shower and I am so excited for my neighbor Grant off the square and his wife Lisa.
We will keep everyone posted on the broken knuckle and our life!!

Count Down Is On!

We can't believe that Monday is March 1st. We are counting down the days until spring break but most importantly summer break. We can't wait to go to the beach, pool, the river and hangout with our family and friends!! We are busy with school, masters classes and Charlie's ball games. Before we know it softball will be started back up and will keep us busy until next Christmas.
As far as church, we are joining our church this Sunday. We met with the preacher yesterday and feel blessed that the Lord has lead us to our church. We are excited to finally have a home church in Munford.
